Our Journey

Bethany has always been interested in event planning. After assisting several friends with their weddings, countless showers and parties, and her high school reunion, she decided it was time to make her dream of becoming an Event Planner a reality. With the assistance of her fiancé, David, she created Grate Moments In Time.

Bethany graduated from Ashland University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Management Information Systems. She recently obtained her Masters of Business Administration from Franklin University, where she focused on how to create and successfully manage a business. She was employed at a Country Club for several years where she learned how to organize events and work with demanding clients. She has since been employed as a Wedding Coordinator at her church, where she was responsible for ensuring that wedding ceremonies were conducted in a smooth and stress free manner.

David graduated from Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. He has worked in customer service for many years and understands the importance of listening to clients. He has also been actively involved in Junior Chamber International (the Junior Chamber of Commerce), where he chaired, organized, and facilitated many events. In this role, he was able to develop his skills of working with vendors, developing contracts, and managing event timelines.

Bethany and David met because of their love for social interaction and enthusiasm for organizing and orchestrating events. It is their passion for planning that prompted them to market their talents with the hopes of helping individuals plan spectacular events. Grate Moments In Time is a member of The Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) and the Columbus Bridal Consultants (CBC). They pride themselves on their slogan “Giving special events a touch of grateness!”

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy focuses on respect. We respect our clients - their ideas, their beliefs, and, most importantly, their time. Each client is given our attention, guidance, and support while planning their event. Above all, we understand that you want to create a memorable event, but your hectic life does not stop during the planning process. Grate Moments In Time also shows respect toward the community by giving a percentage of our annual income to local non-profit and charitable organizations.


Our Business

Grate Moments In Time is a Limited Liability Company. We are a customer service business, which means we are willing to meet our clients where and when is convenient for them.
